Review
GraphicsThe graphics in this game are simply awesome. They're leages above the playstation prequal {dugh} Soul Blade. They,re even more crisp than the arcade version. Every thing from the rats running aruond to the awesome weapon effects add up to the 97% rating I,m giving the graphics.

Sound This is another of the games many high points. The music is fantastic and really gets you pumped for battle. The clashing of weapons is very realistic and really adds to the overall experience.People always like to complain about annoying announcers, but the announcer in Soul Calibur kind of stays in the background. This adds instead of retracts from the game.

Gameplay Heres where the game really shines. Theres enough moves and characters to keep you playing for quite some time. Its the kind of game that anyone can just pick up and play. Its not necessarily a button masher though, becuase a truly skilled player can come in and seriously thrash you if your a rookie. There is a lot of challenge in the game too, and that will keep you coming back.

Fun I had a huge amount of fun just sitting there for hours playing two player with my friend, and I hadn't even gotten to the story mode yet. That was the best part of the prequal. So in the end the brilliant graphics, sound, and game play add up to make this my favorite fighting game of all time. Followed by Soul Blade and then the ancient Street Fighter 2.
